Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and every bride wants to look their best (as you’ll be the centre of attention of course). My aim is to ensure that you have no worries about hair on your day and create a happy atmosphere for you and your bridal party. I have over 15 years of experience calming down stressed-out brides, so don’t worry you will be in very capable hands! In addition, I am a mobile hairstylist, which means that I am happy to travel to your home or venue – one less thing to worry about!
The hair trial can be done at your home or a location of your choice on a date that suits you! I do recommend this be done a minimum of 6 weeks before your wedding day. A trial is imperative for a successful wedding day as it will make sure that you are fully content with your choice, everything is timed to the final second. The trial will last for about an hour per bridal party member, depending on the style. We can discuss your hair type and texture on this day too, as well as what sort of style/look you want.
Please bring the following to your hair trial:
- Any decorative hair accessories (tiaras, grips etc) Note: I do sell a variety of gorgeous bridal hair accessories of my own!
- Any pictures of hair ideas?
On the big day
We will arrange a time in advance and I will show up at your venue to set up my equipment. I mostly begin with prepping the bride as your hair will almost definitely take the longest and require the most detail. Other members of the bridal party will come later, however, this may change depending on what styles are needed. The whole experience will be completely stress-free with plenty of time left at the end to adjust and have beautiful photos “behind the scenes” with your bridal party and loved ones.
I do offer a stay at the day service where I remain on hand to do touch-ups for the professional photographs. I charge £20 per hour for this. However, if you require some last-minute help with small bits like fastening your dress, jewellery etc I will be happy to stay and will make sure everything runs smoothly and stress-free
